Apple Pizza


Crust Ingredients
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. salt
3/4 c. butter Crisco
3-4 tbsp. cold water
4-5 apples, peeled and sliced

Mixture 1
1/2 cup white sugar
1 t. cinnamon

Mixture 2
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. cold butter


Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl.

Cut in butter Crisco with pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly.

Sprinkle with cold water and toss lightly with fork. Work dough into a ball.

On lightly floured surface roll dough into 14” circle. Transfer to 12” pizza pan. Crimp edges.

Placed sliced apples evenly over entire crust. Sprinkle with Mixture #1.

Cut cold butter into flour and sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
